About the Owner/ Founder: Phill Wiltshire
As Director of Strength and Conditioning at SUNY Cortland, I oversee programs for 24 varsity sports and more than 900 athletes. I love helping others achieve goals that they once thought impossible which lead me to adding personal training to my repertoire.
But as much as I’ve loved coaching across sports, nothing captures me like golf. I sneak out to the range whenever I can and get out on the course as often as possible. I love this game because no one can tackle you, there’s no defense, and the ball doesn't move—yet it’s the hardest sport I’ve ever played. That’s what makes it so addicting. It’s a never-ending pursuit of mastery that demands focus, discipline, and creativity.
This love for the game inspired me to pursue a combination of my strength coaching background, desire to help others, and golf. The TPI classes and certifications were more informative than I imagined and have opened new doors into how to use the weight room to become a better golfer. Once I took the Level One certification, I was hooked and immediately completed the Level Two Fitness certification.
